Newsline Express Launches Instant News Ticker to Enhance Instant News Advantage

(14 November, 2005 - Hong Kong) Newsline Express today marks the launch of Instant News Ticker with speedy update to enhance its instant news advantage. Besides, Hong Kong Cable News Express Limited (HKCNE) and Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation (KCRC) have also enhanced the system and transmission speed for the sake of refining the overall audio-visual environment for KCR passengers hroughout the journey.

Being the first out-of-home Cantonese news medium on railway in South East Asia, Newsline Express has been well received by KCR passengers since its official launch in August this year. The upload speed and volume of the news contents of Newsline Express have been improved from 5.5 minutes to 8-10 minutes in every clock hour, which enhances fresher CABLE TV news for KCR passengers.
